Interpretation

I am a native Romanian freelance interpreter based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Brussels. I work in the following language combinations:

  • English to Romanian
  • French to Romanian
  • Romanian to English

I started working as an interpreter on the free market in Bucharest back in 2003, during Romania's EU pre-accession negotiations. Occasionally I would do live interpretation on the public radio.

In 2008 I moved to Brussels where I spent 6 years working as a freelance translator, interpreter and voiceover artist for international agencies and organisations.

In 2017 I earned an MA degree in Conference Interpreting from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. This MA programme is part of the EMCI consortium bringing together Europe's best MA programmes in conference interpreting.
